Heartbeat were delighted to have a visit from David, Diane, Richard, Andrew and Mick from Rotary Club of Alresford, where they had a tour of Heartbeat House and met with some of the residents.
The members decided to donate £3000 to help towards the funding of Carpets in the stairwells of Heartbeat house and were also presented with a certificate and special pledge pins. The three-year scheme enables Rotary to pledge 500 pound a year for three years, but some of the clubs in District 1110 are going above and beyond, and we would like to thank Rotary club of Alresford for exceeding that amount, thus funding towards the much-needed carpets.
The club are also holding a Quiz night on the 22nd of March at Itchen Abbas village hall where they will be raising funds to support many good causes. Check our website for further details.
