We have to take a moment to celebrate YOU—our amazing supporters!

Your hard work, passion, and dedication are driving real change and making a powerful impact on Heartbeat’s mission. Thanks to your incredible fundraising efforts and unwavering support, we’re raising vital funds and spreading life-saving awareness about heart health across our communities. We’re truly grateful for your generosity and commitment—you are the heartbeat of everything we do, and together, we’re making a real difference in the lives we touch.


In December, we were proud to host three incredible and heartfelt services as part of our Light Up a Heart Christmas Carol Celebrations.

  • Lyndhurst raised a remarkable £1,008

  • Guernsey raised an impressive £902

  • Isle of Wight raised a generous £291

Thank you to all who contributed and made these events so special!


Carol Young organises an annual charity dance in memory of two members who have passed away since its inception. Since 2012, Carol has raised a total of £7,446, with an additional impressive £920 added to this amount in January.


A Coffee and Crafts morning was hosted by the wonderful Miss S. Windsor at St. Martin's Church in Guernsey. The event was attended by several members of the community as well as some relatives who have previously stayed at Heartbeat House. This lovely gathering raised an impressive £130.


Since October 2024, we have successfully placed an incredible 10 defibrillators in the community, thanks to the efforts of The James Brady Memorial Ball. Sharon Brady and her brother, Paul Cheeter, have hosted this remarkable event to raise funds for placing defibrillators in key locations to help save lives. Now in its second year working alongside Heartbeat, their collaboration has allowed these life-saving devices to be distributed across numerous communities.

The recent defibrillator placements include:

  • Station Pub, Southampton

  • LMC Taekwondo, Southampton

  • Peter Harding

  • Playaway Day Nursery, Southampton

  • Kemps Shipyard Ltd, Southampton

  • Woodberry Nursery, Southampton

  • South Winchester Golf Club, Winchester

  • Hamble Hockey Club, Hamble

  • Porters Steakhouse, Southampton

We are extremely grateful for their continued dedication and support in helping to make our communities more accessible in saving a life.


We are incredibly grateful to Angie Weir, President of Mayfield Park Bowling Club, for selecting us as their Charity of the Year! Through the bowling clubs hard work and generosity, an amazing £1,400 was raised to support our cause.





The Dorset Chamber held their annual Christmas Lunch which held a raffle for Heartbeat.  The sum raised was an incredible £1,777! Thank you to all the Dorset Chamber team and everyone who generously donated on the day.





The Happy Cheese in Ashurst holds a quiz every Wednesday and some of their quiz players have generously donated their winnings of £125 to Heartbeat. We are truly and incredibly grateful.
