Fee-fi-fo-fum, the big annual Christmas draw in aid of Southampton charity Heartbeat has taken place at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre this week after the matinee pantomime performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Comedian, Kev Orkian, who stars in the show as Silly Simon, sprinkled some festive magic as he lead the festive draw on Thursday, 17th December, selecting the winning tickets on stage, assisted by Tina Tolley and Tina Richardson from Heartbeat.

With £7,290.50 raised, the raffle supports Heartbeat’s vital work to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by heart conditions across the region.

Some of the prizes up for grabs included a £750 cash for 1st prize, £200 M&S vouchers for 2nd and £50 M&S vouchers for 3rd prize.

The Christmas draw has become a much-loved tradition for Heartbeat, and this year’s theatrical twist is sure to delight audiences and supporters alike.

Mark Ind, CEO of Heartbeat, said: “We’re over the moon to be partnering with Mayflower Theatre once again who are fantastic supporters of ours, and the talented cast of Jack and the Beanstalk for this year’s draw. Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, the funds raised will go directly towards support for people who are affected by a heart-related illness.”
