Volunteer at an Event

At Wessex Heartbeat, we take immense pride in our vast selection of events that we run. All year round we will have something that appeals to somebody, with events ranging all the way from small quiz night fundraisers, to high profile Golf days; up to glamorous Gala dinners and theatre shows.

Due to the variety of events that we offer, we urge anybody who wishes to volunteer their time to apply to volunteer for an event; any kind of skill can be utilised at one of our events, whether it's:

  • Selling raffle tickets

  • Helping at our Theatre Shows (may require DBS check)

  • Representing and assisting the charity at Golf Days or Challenge Events

  • Route assitance and marshalling for sports/challenge events

  • Event promotion

 

There are unlimited ways that your specific skills could be used at our events, but our calendar is always packed full so Apply to Volunteer and get in touch with us!

In return for your work with us, not only will you receive any necessary kit or materials to use, but you will also be fully included in a dynamic and tightly knitted team, where you will see your work directly translate to satisfying benefits for the cause that you are working towards.
